Why I Coach Men Over 50.

Hi I'm Grant,

For most of my life, I struggled with my weight. I tried all the diets, followed all the advice, and did what I thought I was supposed to do. I could lose weight but I always gained it back.

In my late 40s, I finally stopped chasing quick fixes and decided to understand what was actually going on with my body. Over the next two years, I lost over 80 lbs, rebuilt my strength, and reached a level of fitness I’d never achieved before — including visible abs at 50.

That change didn’t come from extremes. It came from learning how fat loss, recovery, and training really change as we get older, and adjusting the approach instead of fighting my age.

That journey is the reason 50FIT exists.

By 50, I was in better shape than I’d been in decades.

Today, I coach men over 50 who want results they can maintain, using an approach designed for this stage of life. The focus is on preserving muscle, protecting joints, improving recovery, and building results that last.

I don’t believe in punishing your body.
I believe in intelligent training and sustainable nutrition that works with it.
